Edith Wolford

02 May

That is the variety of this gorgeous Iris, my favorite one in my garden. Well, so is Bright Cloud. Well, maybe Reflections. I am about to place an order for Iris to plant next year. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, today is Monday. I have ignored Monday all day so far for I have no interest. It rains outside, is cold, and I’m working second shift. No need to pay any mind to it.

Gorgeous. Mine haven’t bloomed yet. The pale pink are my favorite from my grandmother’s house. I have lots of varieties from her and some I’ve added. Got a purple clematis yesterday. It’s pretty spectacular too and a few other perennials I planted. Nice to garden and be outside.

    Cheers, Wildstorm.

Since I don’t have a garden, mainly because I’m lazy *shame*, could you let me just look at yours now and then? 🙂

Why don’t you and yours come up for supper one evening. The Iris will not be in bloom for much longer but everything else is.

Let me bring in up with my spousal unit. That would be nice. 🙂

Edith is beautiful. 🙂 Those frilly yellow petals remind me of chiffon frills on a beautiful ballgown (or am I being too artsy fartsy again here)?

I don’t have any iris in my garden but I’m thinking of doing a major overhaul of things here and I think these large iris should definitely have a slot.
