It was 70-something yesterday, Saturday. Much of the day was spent outside in the dirt, plowing, digging, planting. Packets of seeds were flapping in the breeze in a small tattered basket. The shovel leaned against the wooden fence. Beets were planted, the remaining bulbs were gently placed in the soil on a corner flowerbed in the warm sun. Earlier bulb sprouts are already peaking up toward the sunshine.
Toward the end of the day, we took a short drive to Hagarman to watch the winter geese. Apparently many other people had the same idea for there were cars stopped and moving very slowly along the pathway with a camera lense projected out of a car window. That’s how I do it. Many of these photos were taken while in the car.
