Don’t Miss Out!

14 Nov

That’s where he’s going–Out. Out to the pond, out to the pasture, out to pet the dog. Out to the slide.

His interest in these activities brings me so much joy. When out with him, I become completely immersed in the moment and my senses are completely tuned in to the world around us. I dare not miss anything.
For he sees the beauty that our busy brains ignore.

Gosh, he’s such a busy littly fellow. Chris was always (still is, actually) ready to explore and experience whatever he could find.

He looks like the perfect partner for my 1 year and something grand daughter Abigail. She also has determination as a natural element. I see that, in him, too.

The best part of life is just a new discovery away….

I love how children live in a constant state of anticipation.
