The Katy 401B

25 Sep

For you locomotive fans, I introduce you to the Red River Rail Museum’s Katy 401B on display on Main Street in Denison, Texas. You can find all the specifics right here.

It is a beautiful rainy day in North Central Texas and weather I welcome for this early Autumn Saturday. It is just perfect for getting my ground wet to finish planting for my fall garden. It was just too hot to plant several weeks ago with heat indexes around 105. Just plain hot. So I spent my lunch time on Main Street sipping a cold lemonade last week day dreaming about the romance of a train ride in the country.
