That’s such an interesting looking house, but I always thought it would be unbearably hot in the summer. Nice shot!

E, that little house was found on my drive back into Galveston from Freeport.

What a fantastic building! It looks like something out of a children’s storybook.

Are those towns in order of preference? I haven’t been to any of them but I can envisage both Palm Springs and Savannah being fairly easy to tack onto US holidays that we [hopefully] make in future.

A, these are in no special order. But I think Palm Springs is my favorite of all.

A very cute house indeed! Do you know anything about it? And being from Colorado, why Durango? I think I’ve been there once, but don’t remember much about it.

S, Durango was one of those places we vacationed when I was a kid. I’ve been back and I’ve really always enjoyed being there. Plus the Durango/Silverton rail is there. Ask me for photos—they are in an album somewhere in Florida. Lost.

    What an amazing building!

We have driven through Amarillo on our road trip. I wanted to go to the Quarter horse museum bat there was no time 😦

Very funky house- and I’ve only been to Charleston and Savannah on your list.

It does look like a teacup doesn’t it.

Aafke, maybe on another trip you can spend some time in Amarillo. Be sure to visit Cadillac Ranch too!
