“What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.”
~ Crowfoot

This photo was taken with my Nikon D50 along the 69/75 southbound in Oklahoma. As usual it was taken from the car window. The air had been still for most of the afternoon and the clouds of this sunset had hardly changed in shape but only color as the sun breathed deeply into the darkness.

    SHOWOFF!!! 🙂

Kidding, really fantastic photo. Looks like you photographed a pot of soup and flipped it upside down or something. I want to ladle the red right off the top. 🙂

I like the texture of the clouds; they are almost 3d, but what I really like is the mauves and purples in the top. That is a terrific capture, A.

We have snow right now, so no sunset to be seen.
