“When I was 5 years old, my mother told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I did not understand the assignment and I told them they did not understand life.” Who wrote this? I have no clue.

Ah, what a most beautiful quote. If only more people knew this, and lived by it, our world would be a lovely place. Thank you for sharing! Wonderful photo capturing the moment between these two peaceful souls.

I have no idea who wrote it either, but I love it – like all good quotes, it’s so true. 🙂

That sounds so much like what I would tell people. Whenever anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always answered Happy. Now, no one asks me anymore…but happy is still my goal.

It’s a worthy goal. It side steps career, money and things, which only rarely make one happy even for a short while.

I like this shot, A. It shows a level of happiness 🙂

This is such a great quote!

I hope many people read your post and relinquish the need to bring their children up believing they won’t be happy until they acquire the designer clothes, the right model car, the perfect-looking partner, the high-pressure career, the ‘Designer Living’ home.

Happiness is snuggled up in a quiet spot within you. You need only be still and silent and allow it to unfold until it eventually engulfs you.

    Live Life Happy!
