First Ride on The Tractor

05 Oct

J was not too sure of the motion at first of the little tractor as his granddad drove it forward. It wasn’t long before he was comfortably sitting on his knee with his tiny little hands holding onto the steering wheel. He’s still pretty little to understand what this is all about but I think he already likes it. I know he likes sitting in his granddad’s lap.

This photo is related to my previous post. It was after the ride when we all were at the house in the yard. Doc was grazing on the tall grass near his gate. The other horses were near their gate waiting for a bucket of feed. The afternoon was cooling off as the north wind began to blow. It’s time like this that you forget what they said on the morning news. Nothing matters more than these moments.

I like both photos, this one and the one with the horse. Sounds like a wonderful evening. The setting sounds wonderful and of course I love the horse. What a beautiful animal he is. Looks like the kid is having a great time with his grandpa.

It won’t be long before he takes charge of our lives…er, the tractor.
There’s a lot of grass to cut and we’ve been letting the horses graze on the lawn since there is not a lot in the pasture.
    Thank you Derek.

Wow, this is a “priceless picture!” No amount of money could buy the look or the feelings it portrays.

Your little one is growing fast! I love baby and Grandpa together. 🙂 makes me smile 🙂

“It’s times like this that you forget what they said on the morning news.” “Nothing matters more than these moments.” I completely agree !! 🙂
