Unsure of the correct name of this beauty, I call them red lillies. They popped up in the yard this week and the color is brilliant red. It’s nice to have such blooms this time of year.

Yesterday, my husband and I took a walk through the pasture, into the woods, along the stone wall, and near the pond in search of mushrooms. After a week of rain, we knew there would be good finds. And the best place to find interesting specimen: horse poop.

Wild amaryllis!! These little ones bloom only in late summer. You will have a bunch more next year. They are small for amaryllis but aren’t they beautiful!

Bursty, I did not know these were wild Ams. And yes, they bloom every year at this time. We have so many of them.

Not trying to start trouble and there is no PM capabilities here and if you don’t care to discuss it that’s fine and I’ll let it go, but I totally missed whatever is going on on KCL and apparently some issue between you and evil. I’m kinda in the dark here and some interesting things are being said.

I love the intensity of the red against the yellow. Great photo
