Itsy Bitsy Spider

18 Aug

This spider is not so itsy bitsy. She’s a huge gardens spider. Her web stretched across the cat tail stems, she remains in the center where it appears she has zipped it up. It won’t be long before a dragonfly becomes tangled in the silken thread.

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”- Philippians 1:21

This is a great shot, even though I really don’t like spiders! That seems to be a theme so far.

    Nice work.

Thanks for the comments. I don’t like spiders to much either although they do have their place. I used my 300 lens for this but had it to shoot other things. Then there was the spider.

Another reason never to leave the darkroom. 🙂 Great shot. I like my spiders small and very flattened, though. But who can pass up a photographic treat, right?
