Photo taken on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It was too hot to ride. We sat on the porch in the swing sipping sweet tea; the baby asleep in my lap. We watch tails swoosh back and forth while the horses grazed under the sun.

“Of all the attitudes we can acquire, surely the attitude of gratitude is the most important and by far the most life-changing.”
~ Zig Ziglar

“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.”
~Henri Frederic Amiel

“What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.”
~Albert Pike

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.”

Ira Byock, MD, a physician who has studied the role of relationships in
disease and healing, in his book, The Four Things That Mater Most:
A Book About Living, presents evidence that “thank you” and
“you” are perhaps the most powerful words we can exchange with
one another.

Great shot. Love the detail. I don’t know anything about horses (other that what they are), but that shot makes me want to figure out how that works.
