Champagne Fountain

25 Mar

Springtime is the best time of year to throw parties. But it isn’t the best time of year to have a wedding outdoors in Texas. You can count on rain if you schedule your wedding at the park. It’s like leaving your windows open or washing your car–it will rain. And today it is going to storm good. And simply because I do not have everything put away in the garage to drive in my car, I am sure there will be hail.

But the baby is safe and that’s really all that matters. He’s safe in my tummy as I patiently await his arrival.

I took photos during our open house at work. What talent we have there as the cooks prepared, carved, adn created a fabulous spread. It was a first class Dallas style soiree.

Texas sure does sound different than our little neck of the woods. It might hail every 3 years or so and the storms coming off the water can get pretty crazy. You all get hurricanes like we do except we miss out on all the tornadoes. Yikes that has to be nuts down there…
