Atmospheric Tiff

13 Jan

It argues often in the winter months.  The gulf blows warm air northward warming the area.  The north then exhales a cold hard draft causing mass confusion in the closets filled with long sleeves, short sleeves, jackets, coats, gloves, and sandals.  How does one dress?  “In layers” they say.  Some mornings the temperature is 60 degrees and by noon it is a most gorgeous 70 something and earthly inhabitants want nothing more to be outside.  The following day, the artic blisters.  In the drawer is found lip balm, moisturizers by the gallon, and ear muffs.  Brrr.

Where is the much needed moisture that was predicted for this winter?

I’d actually like a little snow. In Texas it will be gone in just a couple of days, and it would be a nice change of pace. If we don’t see it by mid-February, I doubt we will at all this winter.

I love the picture. You Texans do not know what an artic blast is until you lived here in Michigan! I had to laugh. How are doing today?

I think the arctic is that area just north of the Red River. I think Yankees live there or some sort of tundra beings.

Bursty, there has always been friction between the Southerners and the Yankees. That artic air really has no reason to be in Texas. And thanks for the compliment.
