Bachman Lake, Dallas–Who Reads The Signs?

26 Jul

In my previous post, I included a photograph of Bachman Lake in the evening and a bit about the path.  Improvements have been made to this area over the years and it is quite nice for families to spend the afternoon/evening there.  This photo is taken right across the street from the end of Love Field runway where the planes fly directly overhead.  There are two signs situated on the lawn right here.  You can read what they say in the photo above.  Now, I don’t know about you, but that says, “please don’t feed the ducks, birds, geese, fowl, or anything with wings”.  Yet several families with bags of Wonder bread show up, plop down on the grass and here come a hundred or so birds from 200 yards from the other spot they were eating.   Perhaps I missed something in grade school.  I know the meaning of discouraged, but really.

Well the human beings love to defy the instructions and do what they are asked not to do. Remember Adam?
