Old Glory, Texas

26 May

On every trip to the Panhandle on this route, I have to stop by Old Glory.  There are less than a hundred people living there.  If you aren’t careful, you’ll drive right by the town and never know it.  But there are stories to be told.    If there is one thing that hasn’t changed about this little town, it’s the pride of it’s residents.  More information here

Old Glory is located in the vast ranch country approximately 60 miles north of Abilene off Hwy 380. Each June the town hosts “Old Glory Days”. This will be it’s tenth year. I plan on being there.

OMGosh! I took a picture VERY similar to this one, however mine lives in California and is in the desert on 395 in the middle of nowhere. Even Barstow was built up, or Cucamonga, they were populated a thousand times more than this place. Bad place to live, probably, but great picture, LOL. Teraisa
