16 Mar

Yesterday a funeral procession snaked along the road toward the town’s cemetery.  I sat in my car on the side of the road waiting.  My windows were down and I forgot about the rest of the world while about 50 cars drove past and cows grazed in silence.   The noon sun warmed the pastures and blowing wind wildly into my imagination with the voice of Brian Burns.

I always feel sad at a funeral procession. I don’t like them. I really don’t. I guess because it’s so sad.

I always reflect about my life when I see a funeral procession. Am I wasting my days or living life to the fullest???

When I took this shot, the funeral procession was just another event in the day in the life of * Texas and I didn’t give much thought to it. I was more caught up in Brian’s words and the wind.
