Muenster, Texas

03 Feb

Named for the capital of Westphalia, Muenster is a German Catholic community along the 82 West of Gainesville, Texas.   This town of 1500 or so residents continues hold it customary Germanfest held every Spring.  Several local restaurants serve up some fabulous German cuisine.   I drive here to eat.

The photo below is of Sacred Heart School.

It is so much fun, looking through your blog and seeing all these familiar town names 🙂
We went to their German Fest years and years ago. I grew up in Germany, so it’s always nice to find a place with German food.
