Photo-a-Day January 2, 2008

02 Jan

This little birdhouse hangs off a tree limb in the courtyard where I am working today.  Outside the window of the room I am in, birds can be seen nesting in the limbs of other trees as well as this birdhouse.  Seniors live in the community and several leave bird seed in feeders outside their apartment windows.

Taken with the Nikon D50 at around 4 p.m.

I love the photo. My dad built a bluejay house for their yard. He loves watching the birds and they have a lot of hummingbirds that like the honeysuckle and the hummingbird feeders.

You know, I still think it’s so weird to be January and you’re taking pictures and have no snow. What’s the fun of winter without the snow?

    Wonderful lighting.

I can live without snow. It’s pretty to look at and that is about all.
