Roadside Honor

27 Dec

From the Paint The Horse blog.

Not taking time to research the incident along the 380 headed west toward Roswell NM from the Texas state line, I am unaware of this man’s life except that he loved his motorcycle and was loved by others.  When someone constructs a memorial along a lonely highway on the Permian Basin with what looks like the motorcyle parts of his ride in memory of a man, he must have left a real impact on those in his life.

It is these interesting road finds I search for.   Some require getting out of the car and pushing tall grass and weeds away to find them while a first aid and rattle snake bite kit remain in the front.   This is one of many that will be posted.
