The rain got here shortly after lunch. It’s been threatening rain for days but not a drop; nothing worth recording anyhow. It started as I walked down the street a short distance to capture some photographs of clouds. I had hoped to see mammatus clouds but none present. Unfortunately mammatus clouds, as dramatically gorgeous as they appear, are associated with strong storms. I turned back to take some sky shots and some photos of my new house with a wild sky backdrop, it then began to rain. It did not sprinkle. No, it rained and I ran.
We remain under a flash flood warning for a few hours. Ya’ll stay dry now.

Wowzers!!!!! Amazing cloudscape and I really like it in B&W. Flooding here too and more rain to come.
